OnePlus 7T Pro – The Most Useless Update

OnePlus 7T Pro unveiled – the most useless update in the company’s history. Even the McLaren Edition differs only in appearance. OnePlus recently introduced the OnePlus 7T smartphone, and now the OnePlus 7T Pro has arrived. A lot was known in advance about the smartphone, but still not everything. In particular, the OnePlus 7T regarding the OnePlus 7 turned out to be a very large update, but in this case, they added what the OnePlus 7 Pro has. Simply put, the latter could not be updated in the same way, so everyone was waiting for either a modest update or the appearance of something new for the brand. For example, wireless charging or water protection. As a result, the presentation was virtually useless. Most of the time OnePlus once again presented the 7T, and they talked about the 7T Pro for literally five minutes, without paying much attention to anything. The reason is simple – OnePlus 7T Pro is a complete copy of OnePlus 7 Pro with the exception of the platform: Snapdragon 855 Plus instead of Snapdragon 855. It can also be noted that basic versions with a minimum amount of RAM or flash memory are not available for the updated version, and the charging speed supposedly increased by 23 %, although the power has not changed. Why it was necessary to conduct a presentation with such an update, it is not clear – there is not even any new color. They also introduced the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition. This modification is distinguished by the color design of the device, and the box, and accessories, the absence of basic modifications (here 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash memory), branded colors in the shell, as well as the original case that comes with the kit. And it’s all. If the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition differed at least in charging power, then this is still the same Warp Charge 30. Both devices out of the box will run on Android 10 and the OxygenOS 10 shell. As for prices, they are only for Great Britain, where the presentation was held, and also for India. In the UK, OnePlus 7T Pro is asking for £ 700 for a version with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash memory. For the 7T Pro McLaren Edition with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash memory – 800 pounds. In India, for similar versions, they ask for 760 and 830 dollars, respectively. Apparently, for both smartphones, these are the only available versions.
